09. February 2013 SLAM & HOWIE - Sons of ancient times

The cowboys are back in town. On Friday 9th of February SLAM & HOWIE released their fifth record Sons of ancient times. Without any exaggeration it's the best album they did so far. Well done.

During our mini-tour in Czech Republic SLAM & HOWIE shot a new clip for the track "Mountain King".
Besides that they're working on songs for their new album. Released is scheduled for Spring 2013.

24. März 2011 RENEGADE, neue SLAM & HOWIE Scheibe

Am 6. Mai 2011 erscheint die neue Scheibe von SLAM & HOWIE and the reserve men. Sie trägt den Titel "Renegade" und enthält 13 heisse Nummern. Die Truppe präsentiert sich dabei filigraner, reifer, breiter, selbstbewusster und differenzierter denn je. Getreu den schweisstreibenden Live Shows vereint die Band Country, Rockabilly, Bluegrass und würz das Ganze mit einer Prise Punk und einem Schuss Offbeat-Felling.

„Fighting On“ ist die erste Radiosingle des kommenden Albums und SLAM & HOWIE AND THE RESERVE MEN präsentieren den perfekten und frischen Frühlings-song, der Lust macht auf mehr. Lust auf Cabrio, Lust auf Grill, Lust auf schnelle Tempi, Lust aufs Unterwegs sein.

23. November 2009  "You ain't free" für die Kategorie Best Video nominiert

Der Videoclip zum Song You ain't free (if you are a hobo) vom letztjährigen SLAM & HOWIE Album Guilty wurde an den Solothurner Filmtagen für die Kategorie Best Video nominiert.

Wanted Men Recordings, das Plattenlabel für Outlaws geht auf Sendung. Den Anfang machen SLAM & HOWIE and the reserve men mit ihrer dritten Platte "A Fistful Of Songs". Eine schöne Premiere.
Die Promo-Maschine ist gut angelaufen. Mehrere Radiostationen haben "Bedside Radio" in die Rotation genommen. In den nächsten Tagen gibt es auf folgenden Sendern Interviews mit SLAM & HOWIE  zu hören: DRS3, DRS1, Radio 32, Capital FM, BE1
